Most units have access to some form of equipment, and can often upgrade them. Note that unless specified, every single model in the unit is armed with the same equipment, and any upgrades taken must be bought for every model in the unit.

Note that a model can only have one suit of armour; such as light, medium or heavy. For example; if they have light armour by default and upgrade to medium armour, the light armour is discarded.
