In each army book is listed a unit size for each entry that consists of more than one model. This is the minimum number of models that must be included in that unit, and the listed points cost is multiplied by each model. Some units also have a maximum limit of models per unit; this is specified in the unit entry in question.

Some units consist of two types of models; these always specify the number of models of each type that is part of the unit.
