There will likely be situations where you or your opponent will find yourself in a situation where you might second-guess your original plan and wants a re-do, such as moving a unit a certain distance and realising that would put you in a bad spot. Players should be tolerant of letting each other change their minds and re-do such mistakes.
However, once the dice has been rolled for any reason, or your opponent has made a countermove of any kind; players are not allowed to change their decision.
Likewise, if a player has forgotten a rule that should have happened in a previous sub-phase; they are not allowed to go back and apply that rule later. However, players should be encouraged to remind each other about said special rules if they are able to ensure the game is as fair as possible to both sides.
